2024 Flag Football & Cheer
MYFA is proud to announce the return of its Spring Flag Football & Cheer program, offering an action-packed season with games every Sunday. Flag football is open to 1st - 8th graders, and Cheer is open K - 8th grade. The program commences with practices in mid-March, followed by a 6-week competition schedule featuring exciting Sunday games and culminating in thrilling playoffs for top teams.
Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 PM at Sky River Park, led by certified and experienced coaches who prioritize skill development, teamwork, and positive sportsmanship. Whether aspiring for touchdowns or dazzling routines, every athlete will find a supportive and enriching environment to flourish.

Our Coaches are dedicated to providing a healthy atmosphere to allow all our young athletes to learn and grow as teammates and members in the community. Our family first motto holds firm in all levels of our sport. We are a direct feeder program to Monroe High School, come join our Bearcat family!
The NSJFL and Monroe Youth Football are joining in the efforts to reduce head injuries in football. All coaches are required to be certified for Heads Up Football.
USA Football's Heads Up Tackling® is a step-by-step protocol to teach the core principles of the skill and sets a new standard in player safety. The program utilizes five fundamentals through a series of drills to reinforce proper tackling mechanics and teach players how to properly tackle with a focus on reducing helmet contact.
